| Operation
The 2000B is characterized
by having a manual two-tube input mechanism. Two tubes
are placed in the tube holder and the operator then slides
the holder into place to align the tubes with the test
site trackwork. The 2000B retains the programmable eight-tube
motorized output found on other Exatron handlers.
The 2000B is the easiest of the Exatron handlers to
operate. Two tubes are mounted on the manual tube indexer
and aligned with the test site trackwork manually. When
the test result is returned, the part will be sorted
into one of eight output tubes or bins.
