 The
Model 1010 Manual Thermal/PSA Taping Machine is a
manually-fed tape and reel machine. Designed for lower-volume
engineering
and production environments, the 1010 is a good, solid,
basic taping machine. Complete with pocket counter, dual
digital sealing-head temperature controllers, foot-operated
sealing switch, a clean ESD safe work surface, and a
vacuum wand for your operator, this system is ideal for
low- and mid-volume manual taping. |

Operation
The Model 1010 relies on an operator to hand feed the pockets with
devices, either from tubes or trays. Carrier tape motion can
be continuous or intermittent, which is controlled by a foot
pedal. The surface of the manual tape machine controller doubles
as an ESD safe work surface on which the operator can place JEDEC
trays. As the operator fills pockets, he can press the foot pedal
to move the tape and seal the filled pockets. This Taper is designed
for 8 to 72 mm tapes, PSA or Thermal Seal.
Options
 The
Model 1010 can be fitted out with the same options as
the other tape & reel models. In addition, the Model
1010 can be equipped with a vacuum wand attachment to
ease the operator's job of moving trayed parts into the
pockets.
