The LaserScribe Manually-Loaded Pallet (MLP) is
designed to laser mark components mounted in a manually-loaded,
removable fixture ("pallet").
Operation
The LaserScribe MLP uses a Windows-style CAD program, which takes
a minimal amount of training. Once the operator has set the mark,
he merely loads a pallet of devices into the marker cabinet and
presses the "fire" key. When marking is done, the operator will
remove the pallet, replace it with another, and press fire again.
Every LaserScribe system is equipped with a modem and
PCAnywhere software to allow remote control of the laser
control computer. This allows service technicians to remotely
diagnose problems with the laser and even operate the laser
from a remote location.
Options
- Exatron will design, fabricate, and supply at least
two manually-loaded pallets for processing of components.
Additional pallets are available at additional cost.
- The laser is available in four wavelengths: 1064nm("infrared"),
532nm("green"), 355nm ("UV"), or 10,600nm (CO2)
Facilities
Requirements
- 120 VAC, 60 Hz
- 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz (available upon request)
- 65 PSI shop air if custom pallets are used which require
pneumatic pressure
